Playing against bots on for 3 hours on Rocket League is a bit shit hurry and get the servers back on....lol

Twitch is a different source/destination than Sony, so that makes sense that it would work.

Yeah I would think so but then I also read how people can't access Netflix right now. Some services are working and some are unresponsive.

I was playing when it "went down". There was actualy a message saying PSN is undergoing maintenance, and the service started to slowly go offline, so its not like it crashed, theyre taking it down for maitenance, either to ward off an attack or because it needed routine maitenance, I dont know the reason but it definetly didnt crash.

Hmm that is interesting. I assume that maybe Netflix touches Sony's network first perhaps? In order to have minimal lag, the connection to Twitch is probably directly to them.

My PS4 is not our primary PS4. I'm locked out of everything. All the games bought and downloaded, not even Netflix will open.
