Probably shipped numbers... probably XB1+XB360 numbers.
I know he probably get instructions from higher-ups that he should be vague about specific numbers but this is ridiculous. How hard is it to give out numbers??? Every time MS or Sony are the underdog they become almost mystical in their announcements, almost like they are ashamed of giving hard facts.

Xbox 360 was at 17.7million shipped this far into the previous generation when you allign launches, XB1 is definitely higher.

Halo 5 more likely has done 4 million once you factor in its digital sales. So its certainly not doing bad.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
No real numbers yet, could be X1 = X360 + 1 sale for all we know and SW and HW can be only shipped counting. So it's good PR but don't help much.

Sony didn't tottaly hide their numbers, they combined.

It is interesting that while the Xbox One has been selling at a faster rate than the Xbox 360, it has moved way less amount of Software.
Does anybody has a theory about why?

It's actually outpacing 360 globally by quite a margin as far as we know. The mistake a lot of people make is to compare it to PS4, which is irrelevant.

Bundles with lots of games.... after that, it just sits under a tv... looking pretty?
could be its lacking appealing games?
