I still wonder what Nintendo is going to show though if they ain't bringing up any new info about their new platforms ...

Nintendo set a new record by "losing" E3 six weeks before it even begins.

This will be a good test of the Rol Theory, though. According to him, since Zelda will be shown, Nintendo fans will love the show and claim it is great even without NX or virtually any other games to speak of.

Nintendo fans..... truly the loudest of minorities.

Whenever I see an NX thread. Only one thing comes to mind. For all their screaming and gaming prestige, regardless of how many best game ever Nintendo has released. After 4yrs, they couldn't even boast 14M consoles sold.

I used to care about who won E3, back when all three companies put all their marbles on that show. But then Nintendo started doing Directs like crazy and I realized I much rather enjoy getting to hear about new games every 1-3 months (in a presentation) than having to wait for annual conferences for them to be announced. Because of this, they obviously can't have massive shows at E3 but that is cool with me. I don't want to ever go back to having to wait a full year to hear about 90% of new games for the device I play. Maybe some of you Sony/Microsoft fans feel differently, but that is my opinion. I like what Nintendo does and is continuing to do. The less they show at E3 the more they will have to show at random points in the year to make it fun in those parts of the year.

Yup, it's going to be a good test. I can already see it.

I mean, if ten seconds of what amounted to non-footage were enough to make a Nintendo Direct great, then a more in-depth look at the world and gameplay of the new Zelda is going to be pure hype.

Yeah sure. In a way, I feel as if Nintendo fan's have a special spirit in them. No matter how many times they're backstabbed in some sort of fashion, they still pull together to hype up the big things. Just hoping the NX does well...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
