XCX. When I started that game and got a look of the world, all I could think of was "...Woow.... O:" And it still hasn't worn off even after 20 some hours in xD

"Amazed" me? I dunno..........in all honestly nothing has probably outright "amazed" me since Super Mario Galaxy and Shadow of the Colossus. Both of those games were very fresh and original in their own way. I haven't really seen too much to "wow" me in that fashion since. There have been many GREAT games I've really enjoyed since. But nothing that "wowed" me.

That's exactly how I felt with the original. I hear XCX is a billion times bigger than the original so I can only imagine how I'm gonna feel when I get time to play this one.

That's cool. As long as something amazed you. Mario Galaxy and SOTC are good choices. I haven't really beaten SOTC yet but from what I've played, it was very impressive for the console. It did some things better than Zelda imo.

Hyperbole aside, it's about 5 times bigger.

What I love about this topic is that it shows how different everyone's taste in video gaming is. Since my Profile Picture is Nathan Drake then it should be no surprise to you that I pick a Naughty Dog game. The Last of Us is the best "written" video game I've ever played and I enjoyed it immensely because of the story and dialogue between the characters. I'm a big fan of cinema/television and Neil Druckmann, who is a big fan of the tv show Deadwood, went David Milch "Light" with his dialogue and did a phenomenal job. I've been waiting for a game to impact me the way The Last of Us did and it hasn't happened yet, I'm hoping Uncharted 4 will give me what I want.

That's not to say that a lot of the games I've played the past two and a half years haven't been good. They just haven't impacted me the way The Last of Us did. 

Yeah, I felt the same with XC. That world was really big as well. It was kinda intimidating xD XCX feels like that too, but cleaner and prettier~

Another game that gets talked about to death that I haven't played yet. It's so sad that I want to be in the gaming industry and rarely play video games. I always miss the big ones too. Freakin' hate university. Well I hate the general classes anyway. Uncharted 4 might be one of those amazing games as well. It'll be the first one I play in the series.
