Forums - Movies & TV - Kill Bill 3: Tarantino gives some hope again for the sequel

- director Quentin Tarantino said to Variety as part of their Contenders Conversations series:

“I’m not committing to it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if The Bride made one more appearance before the whole thing is said and done,”

“I am talking to Uma about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I’d written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use.”

- Tarantino seems to be adamant to make a third installment as he said he felt he said what he wanted to say with the first two films

- Tarantino gave hope back in 2009 for a third Kill Bill film, then put hope down in 2013. Now it feels like a sequel could be possible once again.

Any fans of Kill Bill in here?

Hoping for a sequel?

Probably wouldn't be called Kill Bill 3, seeing as Bill is already dead. Unless he went the prequel route.

That is a nice question.

But at this moment he could call the film Raging Dildos and I wouldn't care as long as it releases.

lol I agree. Loved both movies. Really i love everything Quentin Taratino has done.

Loved the Kill Bill movies, but story is done. Like seeing Tarantino do something new each time. Still need to see Hateful Eight which looks fun.

What else can they show? I mean Bill is dead. A prequel or perhaps new name and what happened with their kid?

Bad idea, there is already one Kill Bill movie too many.

Not only is 'Bill' character dead, but the actor who played him is dead.

So maybe they could portray ~15 years later or whatever with the daughter of that one character, and Uma could play a small role or maybe villain.

I'm about to watch it in a couple of hours when I finish The Martian.

There is a pitch Quentin did years ago which explains the drive for a sequel.

Don't pretend you didn't read this pitch from Quentin and that you came up with it. :P

Never watched the kill bill movies. If I really want to see another movie sequel, its Rush Hour 4. I mean yes, its cheesy and has stupid plots, but I can't count how many times I've laughed my ass off at carter's remarks. XD

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
