Like the title says. Is all the hype for NX being generated by Nintendo fans (who would buy anything Nintendo branded) or is there a general excitement among gamers? Too soon to tell?

I'll just speak for myself: I'm more curious than excited. With all the rumors going around of what it can be I don't know exactly how it'll work out. That said, if the rumors are true, it should have hardware capabilities that are "industry leading" (so as strong or maybe stronger than PS4/XOne) and it's a home/portable device.

I'm not overly excited considering this gen and the previous one, but let's hope it's a good one.

Games and features make me excited for a console. Since we know little to nothing about NX, can't say I'm excited.

I'm excited, and I'm a Nintendo fan. At least I can tell you that.

I am a Nintendo fan but not a Wii U fan. I have purchased every Nintendo system except for the Wii U for the sole purpose of playing Zelda. If Zelda U gets ported to NX i will be very excited since i will not have to purchase the Wii U. I am excited to see how Nintendo proceeds after the Wii U.

Nintendo want me to buy their console? Start f***ing makeing the games I want, and launch with them, have them early in the gen.
