Halo 2 was the zenith for me. 3 was good but not as good as 2. Every game since 3 has suffered major fall off with Halo 5 ( aka Battlestar Galactica rip off) being the worst.

And hopefully MS will now pick better release dates...

Halo 5 is an excellent game. The campaign is great, the multiplayer is amazing and all that in 60fps glory.

If Halo 5 ends up not selling as much as other Halo games it has nothing to do with the quality of the title but everything to do with X1's reputation.

It's good that Halo fell from grace.

When skipping out of consoles this gen I was afraid I'd be mssing out on it.

Funny how almost nobody is talking about Halo 2...

Yeah better than halo 3, and 4. Its by third best halo game after halo 1 and 2.

The multiplayer is amazing but the campaign is ok.

Better than 4 and ODST at least...

I'm going to have to go with the folks saying Halo 5 is a great game.

I recognize that the Microsoft hate bandwagon is still running pretty strong, but Halo 5 is anything but a "fall from grace". It's not perfect, as I've outlined myself, but there's a polish to this game that not only gives it a distinct flavor from other FPS games while modernizing the formula, but also reminds people that Halo is Halo.

You can be good at just about every modern FPS, and Halo will eat you alive! Hahaha

I have the opposite problem. I rock Halo, but suck at anything and everything else...
