As Wii U's 4th calendar year draws to a close, what do you think is the best game released for the system so far?

Hmmmm, Xenoblade or Mario Kart 8.

Just curious why Smash isn't on the poll. But my vote is Xenoblade.

I'm going to withhold judgement on XCX as I'm only a few hours in, but from what I've seen so far, I'm absolutely loving it. I'll stick with Super Mario 3D World as the best, but if XCX continues to be this good, then I'd have to change my pick.

every game has its own charm (besides AC: AF) but i dont think any game really nailed it like Xenoblade Chronicles X. It has the perfect balance of what JRPGs and Open World games have to offer. the world is simple and easy to figure out. only a few hours into the game i had already mapped out in my head the entire BLADE area and knew where to find shops and new missions. the missions themselves are direct and are easy to manage. and the gameplay and battles are amazing. there really is nothing i can complain about

You asked for the best game, not the one that I like the most. Xenoblade X is stunningly impressive. I'm just stunned by it.

Pikmin 3 gets my vote, though it's tied with Bayonetta 2.

It's a tie between Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 for me.
