This is fantastic :D

Now I hope we see a Vita one in the future possibly by the same people who made ppsspp.

How would it be called? Pspsvivitata XD

But I agree, emulation of this gen's handhelds shouldn't be difficult.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

What id like to know is how hard would PS4 plus X1 emulation be, since they are pretty much pc's with a custom os, i wonder if it would be possible to convert the games exe file. Kinda like the way that original xbox emu used to.

It would be similar to OS virtualization probably. Hacking the PS4 was the first step.

Was the original Xbox ever emulated on PC? I always thought it was a no brainier but seemed like it never would be. Btw I'm reading that article.

Well kinda. I think it ran like one game but lack of interest killed it. However i do think that development has started back up on one of the original xbox emus and now it can run more games i think.

Seems like popular systems with large community are the ones that get proper emulators first. I thought it would be the systems that are easiest. But it makes sense.

Wow, progress for a 3DS emulator is going a lot faster than I thought.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Puts my chip8 emulator to shame :(

This is fairly impressive, specially after a few people thought we would never see this one because the 3DS hadn't been properly hacked and it used an unique ARM chip. Hah!

Interesting. I'd probably try it.
