The Force is very strong with American gaming industry right now to be very honest. Whether you hate them (EA, Activision, etc) or love them (VALVE Corporation[STEAM], Rockstars, Bethesda etc) or a mix of both. Their games are most certainly, selling very well.
And they're growing with unprecedented rate. No matter if it's PC market, or console market or smartphone/tablets market or even indies market! You bound to met them :).
And with Warner Bros, become heavily involved in the gaming market this-gen with major titles like Mortal Kombat X, Dying Light, Shadow of Mordor, Arkham series, Mad Max and pretty much every LEGO Games. I'm pretty sure they're in a good spot right now.
As for Disney, they have Disney Infinity and a sharing title with SE - Kingdom Heart III. they're still weak when compare to the like of Warner Bros, but if there is one thing i learned in the past, is dat never underestimate the power of the House of Mickey! After all, they own Marvel, Star Wars and PIXAR. Not to mention of their own world-class animated studios! They also great at making quality stuffs that all ages love, have a great legacy, and most important of all. The fanbase is just freakin huge!
Man, if Disney become serious about video games, things would go pretty crazy :3.
So, Is the Force really too strong with America ? Will they dominate the gaming industry revenues (financially speaking) like they are in the Box Office ???
