This is pretty douchey

On PSN, SW BF was 33% off until midnight, less than an hour ago. So, the standard version cost 46€. What happens after the sale ends? The price permanently drops to 35€.

Prices do drop..and sometimes not that long after a sale. But they aren't even ashamed of just going straight into it and tricking consumers with plans like this

This game sells really well but they just want to sell to anyone right now and as many units as possible. People need to buy season passes right? But I can see how it is unfair but on the other hand people buy when they find it to have the right value for them (although sometimes this gets exploited and there is also manipulation from the marketing side of companies)

Anyway I paid 48 dollars myself and even though I found that a lot for the amount of content, so far I've put 15 hours in the game and playing it daily! But I do hope they keep their promise of more support and content. And the season pass should literally be expansions!

Game has barely any content gets repetitive after 10 minutes of playing is online only with no campaign or voice chat anything else worthwile is locked behind a crazy 50$ season pass. Yeah even as a huge star wars fan. I will stick to battlefront II thank you very much.

If they feel they've made loads of profit already and want to drop to a reasonable price then go ahead. It's their game they can do what they want. I'd rather this carry on then the game staying full price for years so be thankful.

But it's right after the damn Christmas sale that was for higher than the price drop. You gotta find that at least a little bit dastardly. (even though in reality it's a lot dastardly)

If they want to cut the price even more after the sale then so be it.  I've worked a lot in retail and it's pretty standard practice for many companies to have an item on sale pre Christmas then as soon as it's over then cut them even more.  

 

There should be a celebration not a witch hunt.  People who bought in the high season got a sweat deal.  People who didn't get an even sweeter deal.  Both parties win.
