Actually for all the naysayers that just to like to come in a drop negative comments without any major reason why. Last year WiiU hardware was hard to find but games still weren't selling and games were always on the shelves this year games are cleared out. The gap in the US isn't as big as it is the EU. I think these two weeks will surprise a few.

This kind of stuff though is going to have me write a nice suggested thread for this website

Dude, you need to chill. No one is hating on Nintendo, they are just saying to not read too much into things. Maybe Ninty sold well, maybe retailers didn't stock much, who knows.

Just as its annoying for you to deal with haters and critics, it's annoying for others to be bombarded with "omg Nintendo is doing so well because one store sold out!!!!!"

Read all comments after yours for what I was looking for, not like the comments before yours.

Are you saying you made a post about future negative comments...?

My store got a decent amount, but most was from Black fridays. I think many stores just did not get as many as you think.

I believe it gives nintendo fans hope, and nintendo too.

Your few stores are giving us hope for what exactly?

That, if they can increase interest in the wiiu, the worst system they've ever made, then it can only go up from here. Even if it's just a little, it seems the wiiu didn't too that bad this Christmas. Of course, we'llhave to wait for official numbers. But, God forbid anyone say something in a positive light around you. Don't like what I'm saying here? Ignore it. I'm ok with that, somehow.

So false hope then. Yeah sorry, I'm not a fan of that being spread. The Wii U has never maintained the holiday boost, it wont suddenly do so now.

My Target and Toys R Us were sold out of Wii Us as well. Neither are really major holders of hardware, but it's nice to see them being sold.

Unfortinately in London it still no much Nintendo anywhere.

Switch!!!

Let's just wait for NPD to release to see if the OP's observations are true that Nintendo Wii U sold great or if retailers have lost faith and just don't stock as many units.
