Actually, Nintendo is Co-Developing StarFox Zero With Platinum Games, The Game uses two screens and runs at 60 FPS on both.

if you Played Metroid other M, you know that Metroid is perfect with this new mode of Gameplay of two Screens. Nintendo is not idiot and they will Use their experience of Star Fox  Zero in other  new Game. In fact, Platinum Games has experience in Shooting Games like Vanquish, Starfox, TW101(Some levels) And They has a good partnership with Nintendo.

Retro Studios is developing a new IP "Non-Metroid" possibly and Next Level is developing MP Federation Force on 3ds, So, What do you thinks about this posibility? would you like  Metroid NX by PG ?

Your probably about to catch alot of heat...

Without addressing the topic, you really need to change the title.

Fixed thread title to make it less click-baity and moved it to a Nintendo thread

I was getting my pitchfork ready.

You're lucky a mod saved you.

No, at least, not in the style you're suggesting. Dual screens has killed immersion for nearly every game I've been forced to use it for, and while that's not a huge deal for something like Xenoblade or Pikmin, it's a much, much bigger deal with something like Metroid Prime. Metroid Other M was a much worse game for forcing the player to switch between two perspectives.

I'd be interested in seeing what Platinum could do with Metroid in another format, possibly, but I'm not sure they'd be my first pick either.

Absolutely not.

I love Platinum, but they are not the right devs for Metroid.

The best Metroid games are slower, cerebral experiences, not the kind of intentionally cheesy, over-the-top action that Platinum specializes in.

But Metroid is more of an exploration game than a shooter. I think Aonuma's "Zelda" team is the perfect match. They can develop both, Zelda and Metroid. It's been 4 years since Skyward sword. That's plenty of time to sneak in a Metroid game while Zelda is in the early dev stage.

Dear God no, then we'd have to wait 10 years between Zelda games instead of 5.

I love Platinum Games, but I feel that they're not the right developers for a Metroid Prime 4. They definitely have the "Shooter" mechanics down as seen by Vanquish, but I don't want that to translate to a new Metroid. If anything, let 'em develop F-Zero. That would be the right project for 'em, not Metroid. I'd love to see what they can do with a racing game and F-Zero would be perfect.
