So IF i read correctly, the main complain is you already got them on ps2 and ps3, so why not play them on ps2 or ps3 ? or sell the ps2 box so you can buy 3-4 game on ps4.... i just see some greedy ppl, trophy and higher rez comming at a cost, aswell make the upgrade for ps4 os so this can emulate, the pubicity etc...

Sony is not a charity, and they just recently come back to black number, you already want them in red this look, plus again, nobody gonna kill you if you not buy them, just wait price go down !

It's ok. Not cheap, but ok. I only buy games I didn't have before. I just Play the old ones on PS2 or PC.

This is suppose to be HD remastered collection... Like Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remastered for the PS4 which came out year ago before Star Wars PS2 HD remastered...

Sorry Sony, this is not a new thing. It's a port not emulation.

Edit: One more thing, people will not re-buy. Because there are PS2 HD remastered games for the PS3 example Metal Gear Solid 2 stand alone. Sony, you better support well, at least "Crossbuy"

Greed can work both ways, and people who believe that their games they bought 10-14 years ago should work on a console two generations later are greedy.

I can understand Sony charging for these games but it sucks for people who already own a physical copy.

I'd suggest those people get their hands on PCSX2.

I think the biggest problems are that this is not what people asked for and the way Sony sells the idea.

People asked for a way to play their PS2 and PS3 games on their PS4 just like MSoft has managed to get Xbox360 games to run on the XboxOne through an emulator. They just want to be able to put the PS2/PS3 game disc on the machine and play.

But what Sony has done is not that, it is a re-release of those games with higher resolution and framerate and the added of the trophies. There is nothing wrong with that, except that they are wrongly using the term "emulation" for that.

Because of that, there are two ways to view this thing, and both are right. Those that take it as an emulation are right to be mad with Sony for asking for a price, while those who see it as a re-release are right when they say that $10-15 for each game is not that much.
