This website is the poster child for Ad Block.  It's the reason I went out and searched for an ad blocking program.  Otherwise, I wouldn't be here, because the ads are just that obnoxious. 

Advertisers complaining about Ad Block when they keep pushing people into a corner is ridiculous.  They need to take a look in a mirror to see how we got to the point where nearly everyone has to use ad blocking software just to keep their sanity.  If ads are seriously deteriorating the user experience then you're doing something wrong.

I do feel bad for the websites that work to keep away obnoxious ads.  Those that ask, and say they use won't use distracting ads, I'll give them a chance and disable Ad Block on their domain.  It's a shame it has to work that way but places like VGChartz are the reason.

I've considered using adblock as well, even though I'd really like to not. Depending on the day, the device and the browser, sometimes it can take several minutes just to scroll to the bottom of one post, and an eternity to post something, if I can post at all. The video ads are often glitchy and play their audio instantly and sporadically. There isn't another site I've ever been on that was as slow and oft-unusable as this one.

Can someone move this to Website Feedback so the right people see it?

I refuse to navigate this website without Adblock.

EDit: LOL I just disabled it for one time only and there is like 6-7 ads all over the main page. Plus the total loading time for posts and scrolling is increased as well. Thank you adblock, might consider donating to them now  

What the heck are you guys talking about? The only ads i get on this site are two lame small banners top and bottom. Maybe is a IP address thing, but you guys should check your spyware.

I agree. The ads on this site are a nuisance. Adblock is our best friend.

I use Google Chrome and some of the banner adds on this site cause the page to not even load (all I get is a white screen with the add at the top). To get back to the forum I have to reload the page and hope that it doesn't try to bring back that same add otherwise I will have to reload it again. Sometimes I have to reload the page 5 or 6 times just to actually read the thread.

I havnt got a PC or computer so I use my iPhone, and there are times when you simply can't use the website because after 5 seconds an advertisement fills the screen, there's no option whatsoever to cross it off and all you can do it either close the page or press the advertisement, in which the App Store then opens. Then you try to go on vgchartz again and the whole things happens again.

Video Ads and flashing/pop up Ads Ugh... A simple small Image Ad should be used as standard.

What pisses me off are the ads that appear in pictures or gifs people post. Will probably get ad block if this shit isnt removed.
