I abandoned NeoGaf at my first chance. My first and main requirement to stay on a forum/page is that the mod team is good. VgChartz page delivers that, in my opinion, so here I am :P

For example?

Neo-progressives often oppose personal liberty, equality of opportunity (in favor of quotas), laissez-faire capitalism (progressivism originated as a right wing movement specifically to oppose the perceived excesses of the free market), freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, freedom of speech and freedom of thought (among others). I don't understand how so many people conflate these radically different (often directly opposing) ideologies. They mix like oil and water and the left wing's pathetic attempts and merging them is simultaneously amusing and terrifying.

To put it as simply as possible, liberalism is about individualism and freedom. If you oppose the basic tenants of liberalism by say, advocating for censorship and quotas, you are not liberal. Neo-progressives are not liberal, the left wing is not liberal (for the most part) and many people who call themselves liberal certainly are not.

Idk about banning you, but i could understand that it could be interpreted as racist, when you throw the term ghettoganster around when talking about the black mafia (especially when we know so little about the story)

Agree with the underlined. As for the bold I love how everyone is more or less ignoring the fact that it was an incredibly poor choice of words. Id never use that on VGChartz and dropping it on NeoGAF is just asking for it. Like really, what did you expect? If you said that in real life more than one person would raise an eyebrow.

Im 50/50 on affirmitive action. Depends on circumstances, levels of education and the country in general. It may be different in places like North America and Europe in general but in the developing world affirmitive action is down right necessary. Its called a poverty trap. Case in point, how the hell do you expect low earning and uneducated parents (e.g South Africans post Apartied) to pay for their kids higher education (colledge)? And if they dont get a college degree how the hell do they get a decent job? And if they dont get a better job how do they pay their own kids tuition? Rinse and repeat over several geneations and most will still be stuck at the bottom. In such situattions I cant see any viable solution apart from affirmitive action  or deliberately locking out an entire demographic for several generations while they build capacity at a snails pace. It shouldnt run forever but it must be present for minority groups or whatever to at least allow them to get a foot in the door, at which point it can be scrapped when the playing field is finally made "fair".

Not at all actually. it is the opposite. 

I have been a member of Neogaf and here for a long time. I have never been banned on Gaf for sharing my opinion wheras I was consitently getting banned on this for stupid reasons. Mods on power trips here. 

I don't post here often anymore so I don't even know if the  same mods are here anymore.

Gaf is A LOT bigger than Vgchartz so they have a bigger job to do there and they are great at it
