Forums - Sales Discussion - Japan Sales - Media Create/Famitsu/Dengeki - week ending 13/12/15

Wow, those Wii U and 3DS numbers are excellent!I was expecting to see some good numbers, but not quite like this!Monster Hunter is still selling extremely well, the number didnt fall too much from last week, and another 3DS game that is holding well is Mario and Luigi, looks like it will compensate to have a somewhat normal FW with good legs.Splatoon and Mario Maker beasting in Japan as always

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Is nintendo pushing bundles in japan this holiday? what about Sony? it seems they are not trying to push sales there like they do in the rest of the world.

Nintendo always get bigger boosts the last few weeks of the year.  Sony will dominate big time from January on next year.  It's because their consoles appeal to kids and the parents are out buying them.  The first week after Xmas is usually a big decline for them and a big week for PlayStation because the teenagers are off spending their money.

The Holidays...

But, PS4 should also get a holiday bost. Are the holidays really that much better for Nintendo? I'm kinda surprised.

Its not easy to predict the console market in japan. Nothing is inevitable.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Saying ps4 won't pass out the Wii U is like saying splatoon wouldn't hit a million this year a few weeks ago.  To me it's a sure thing.

Not 100% guaranteed next year but one thing we know by the time summer rolls around the gap will be closed a lot.
