They both are good, but not best of all, both have minuses, if be objective. I think you take it too seriously, it's just a games. 

There is no thing like perfect game, evre game have some minuses and could be even better, that goes for Zelda BotW. Horizon is very good game, but Zelda BotW is great one, we talking about one of best games ever.

The water does splash sometimes (particularly when swimming), but it's oddly inconsistent. In general i'd say it's the most noticeable detail compromises they made, and the one i disagree with. Given how stable the game is, i feel like it could have gotten away with at least some basic alpha effects for running through water without any changed to the 30fps lock.

For me, Horizon is one of the best games ever!

Objective how? An opinion is always going to be subjective.

 So your taste is incredibly low bar cause horizon isn't really even in a top 50 of the best games ever, it's a good game but it doesn't bring anything that makes it better than the witcher 3 or BotW except graphics and maybe the cinematographic story.

Breath of the Wild will win GotY is my prediction, which will further entice those who have not gotten the game by that time to pick it up.  Even without that though, given the demand for the Switch I see it easily passing HZD by the end of the year. With an attachment ratio of over 100%, you would have to be a fool to try and count Zelda out this early, especially since the gap as of now is not that big to begin with.
