Single player stuff:
Pathologic 2 (or whatever the name of sequel will be) - lots of sick, sick stuff - both virtually and figuratively; The original from 2006 had lovely but spooky atmosphere, I hope they'll catch some more of that magic.
Psychonauts 2 (I know it's not 2016, but stil - psycho love is strong ) - no need for intro here I guess.
MMOs:
Camelot Unchained (aka DAoC 2) - RvR/PvP sandbox ; If you like quests, PvE & endgame raids, this is NOT the game for you.
Same goes for Crowfall - PvP/sieges medieval fantasy sandbox being made by the creator of Shadowbane.
Revival - Victorian/medieval dark fantasy; I like the atmosphere, art style & concepts (vine making profession or, say, ingame sex for better stats, anyone?), still veeery early in development. The artwork looks dark and lovely indeed, thou I'm afraid they won't have funds to make the game...let's hope I'm wrong.
Albion Online, FTP multiplatform medieval sandbox, often compared to Ultima Online; It enters beta in couple weeks and I might be playing it casually (say, from my cell phone), thou you never know...
Chronicles of Elyria, they have some very interesting gameplay concepts (for example aging, dying and reincarnation), also quite early in development.
Pantheon, Rise of the Fallen - more PvEey than those above; I like the visuals & races, I hope I'll like the gameplay.
Shroud of the Avatar will also be more PvE, with single player, coop or "MMO" (?) modes.
Worlds Adrift looks lovely, the colors, the skies...still in very early development.
Gloria Victis caught my attention recently, and it's similar to Life is Feudal, medieval sandbox PvP stuff... by now, you can guess my taste =)
Shards Online is another "light snack" I might play casually, not exactly on top of my list thou.
