XCX has a built in player tracker in the very first boss that is a forced encounter, and the game keeps track of its kills (and how many people it has killed). It isn't perfectly synced to player count (obviously as not everyone is connected at all times or when they kill the boss) but its a very good approximation. It is also regional.

Both NA and EU have blown past Japan's opening week, and are well into the first triple digit individually.

Japan stopped a little over 100k months after launch, the game overall saw around ~130k sales in Japan, IIRC.

WOW :o! Definately, xcx is being way more appreciated and indetified than the first on wii...

 

I had forgotten that there is a meter for online unique player from which you can estimate its sales! :P What's the number for EU Vena?

130k was the last figure pertaining to retail sales, we got... I think it was on June or July!

If I'm not mistaken xcx digital sales weren't high? 20k-30k first month?
