If you are a Nintendo Fan, you must get Ratchet and Clank. It has the platforming and charm of games like Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64 etc.

That is actually one of the games that convinced me its time to give Sony a try. 

As much as I crave Splatwo's campaign, 3D World 2, Galaxy 3, Yooka-Laylee, and someday if Sega gets their act together, another good 3D Sonic game... there just isn't enough 3D Platformers left. I freaking love that genre.

Wow, you missed out not having a PS3 in the 7th gen then (imo).

We got three mainline Ratchet & Clank's, Sly 4, the HD collections for the Jak and Daxter trilogy, the Sly Cooper trilogy and the original Ratchet & Clank trilogy. The mainline PS3 Ratchet & Clanks are also among my favourite games of all time (The two best of them holding #1 and #3). If you do find that you want to play some of these games, PSNow has quite a few of them (Sly and Ratchet & Clank collections, Sly 4, and two of the mainline PS3 exclusive Ratchet & Clanks).
