Either Germany needs to be pumped up or UK needs to be bumped down, or a bit of both. Given we know VGC's global LTD as at 21 Nov is short about 1.2 million it seems like Germany needs to be bumped up about 400K. Is 1/3 of the missing 1.2 Million from Germany alone? Or perhaps UK could be a tad overtracked and there are more sales to be distributed elsewhere, particularly in the not directly tracked markets?

Or perhaps it's a relative consideration and doesn't mean they have sold more PS4s in Germany than in the UK

How do you figure that?

Even if it's a relative term, i.e. based on population, Germany would still have more total PS4s sold, since Germany has about 16 million more people than the UK. Even add in Ireland Germany still has >10 million more people. However you cut it, this statement means the PS4 LTD in Germany > PS4 LTD in the UK, and every other country in Europe. 

If the statement only means that PS4 is the largest gaming platform in Germany then the wording of the statement would be very different. And it would be false anyway, since PC is for sure a bigger gaming platform even with some people moving from PC to PS4. After all there is no way that Germany only has 2.5 million PC users that play some form of games on PC. Even if its only Facebook games, the PCs are still used to play games and hence PC is the biggest gaming platform.

Pretty much, closer there than in the US. Funny enough seeing as how Andrew House and a load of higher ups in PS are from UK and I couldn't name you one person on team Xbox from UK. 

Largest market can mean it is selling the most right now, but not necessarily life to date.

There is no need for a switch if it only applies to one console (manufacturer). Gaming market as a whole still seems to be bigger in UK.

The thing is PC has a huge presence in Germany, while the UK has a smaller PC presence and a bigger Xbox One presence.

It's still close between the two. UK probably sells more consoles overall as Xbox One gamers are basically PC gamers in Germany.
