I agree but, the market decides these things, not us. PS4 is the king right now, even in the US. The reason Xbox One has BC is because they're trying really hard to catch up. Sony doesn't have to do things like that because people are voting with their wallets right now and basically telling them "we love what you're currently doing". If sales slip, we'll probably get it but they're going to have to REALLY slip.

Right but the PS3 era was a humble era for Sony. Think about the PS2 era. They were the most cocky, arrogant, you can all suck our dicks company we have probably ever seen. I remember one of their E3s back in the early 2000's where the speakers first words right out of the gate were something like "the console wars... are over". lol 

Sony is killing it again and as such, we're getting some of that cockiness back. Prices will stay high and things will remain as they are until the public humbles them again or gives them a reason to change. If the public doesn't, well... we just have to deal with it.

I would be happy to pay a few bucks for a HD compatible version of a few ps2 games. I'm used to buying movies again for better image and sound, so it's not a big deal to me. I guess the sound won't be any different, already had optical s/pdif.

I didn't watch E3s at that time so I can't say anything... but the console war was over. And about prices, Nintendo keep the prices on SW independent of the sales of the platform or games, so I don't know if it's more on arrogance or policies... I know that I still buying on the cheap side of the games... let's hope they calibrate it accordingly.

Well if they keep the 2 games that they already give, I wouldn't complain about the PS1/2 games being given as a third game.

Yeah I don't own my PS2 games anymore so I'd have to re buy them even if it worked on disc.

I didn't know so many people had a bunch of PS2 discs lying around, you learn something new everyday.



There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'

Can anyone help on a side note. It says these ps2 games on ps4 store are available now but I cannot find anywhere at all on ps store. I am in the UK. Google searches say they were released in UK on 5th Dec. Anyone else having trouble finding them?

Brazil PSN have show them since yesterday, but I think we are a mask of USA.

Try to look under the PS Experience tab. Or search by title, like GTAs

In all honesty, I already own all the PS2 games I need in HD remaster - FFX, Prince of Persia collection, ICO/SotC collection, MGS collection and the God of War collection.
The ONLY game I truly MUST have now is Silent Hill 2. The HD port of that was a disgrace to the original so I'll be happy just for this one game. I'll pay my $10 and be done with it. SH2 is a masterpiece!
