Actually, I would say it's the person teasing at fault. He is setting up people's hopes by saying something 'big' is coming. We know the Smash direct is coming, so that is not big. If it turns out to be that, then the teaser has failed, not the person being told the announcement. |
Nintendo or the PR person's definition of "BIG" could be different to each other user's definiton ot it. My big announcement could be a DLC for MK8. While another person's big announcement could be Metroid U.
Pocky Lover Boy!
cap falcon amiibo in neo fast racing.
Something Amiibo-related or .... Smash Bros DLC....
I wouldn´t expect much from Nintendo right now or in the future
Minecraft Wii U Edition releases on 17.12. (in Europe). I am okay with that announcement, even if I had wished for something different.

Yeah, that is true. If the surprise is the smash bros direct, or a date for it, I think Nintendo should reconsider what they consider to be 'big' since I don't think that that would be big at all. We know about it, so it isn't all that much of a surprise.
Dance my pretties!

I think the surprise was that Minecraft is confirmed for Wii U. I still kinda wish it was the pc version of FF7.
Yeah probably Minecraft even though it leaked early on...
So the Minecraft Wii U thing is the reveal? o:

It makes sense. I'm fairly sure that Damon Baker is the guy involved with a lot of the indie developers right? So if he's teasing an announcement, more than likely it was going to be a big indie game
