Based on the recent Microsoft PR on BF. I seriously doubt PS4 lost Black Friday.

This is so bullshit VGChartz! Last gen i knew several Xbox 360 owners,and i owned one myself,because of Forza 4,,this gen i know 3 persons buying a Xbox One,but guess what,they all sold it,and bought a PS4,because everyone they know bought a PS4. In my country Xbox has never been strong,last gen it was a 70/30 split in favour of PS3,but this gen Xbox seems non existence. This is only anecdotal evidence though,based on my observations.

I find it more surprising that VGC has Europe at 380k vs 200k. We already know the UK was pretty neck and neck, but the PS4 outsold the XB1 in the UK by 5k. If we add in all the other european countries, europe should be closer to 450-600k imo.

Did you really believe Sony when they said they'd sold over 30.2m by the 22nd or they've got 70% of the European market? Come on now ...

if you read the sony statement the numbers are based on Estimate by SCEI. This annoucement by Sony was made since they knew that PS4 has sold more then 30 million units world wide as of Nov 22nd.

I think with this information it's safe to assume that PS4 numbers is undertracked by at least 1 million units as of Nov 28th. But, Vgchartz doesn't have the proper data or information to know what period and market this variance need to be applied. Most likely VGchartz biggest variance in PS4 sales comes from rest of the world numbers.  You guys are trying to spin it that Nov 28th numbers are under tracked by 1 million. We also don't know if the Xbox one numbers are undertracked.

Don't get me wrong I also have my doubt that PS4 lost to Xbox One in NPD for November. But, Vgchartz much closer then your given them credit. 

Those numbers looks really off. I guess i'll wait for npd numbers.

We get told over and over again that they can't adjust the PS sales numbers, even when Sony release figures, because they can only work on hard data.

So where are they getting the hard data for the MS consoles, that always seems to over track slightly?
