Yes 10 times over. Unless you were into waggle, then I don't know how the hell you could disagree. The Gamecube was a CORE SYSTEM. What do I mean by this? Take a look at TP. Gamecube version uses a real controller and works where as the Wii version, you're waggling... yes... waggling to swing a freakin' sword lol.

I'll take Gamecube any day. If you could translate all of their biggest games on Wii to use Gamecubes controller though, then it gets harder to pick.

This is hard. But the cube was treated better during the ending and did not have a crapload of shovelware like the Wii was getting remember anyone? So Cube wins it.

hardware wise, it's basically impossible for the GC to be better than the wii because it IS a gc with way more stuff and progressive scan!

that said, cube is the only home console i currently own and i admire its aethetics and portability. as far as its library...double dash is effing amazing and so is wind waker! however, i don't have a problem with wii games. there was a lot of shovelware, but the library was so big that there was something for everyone.

The shovelware never bothered me; I just didn't buy it. There was truckloads of shovelware on the NES and PS2 also. Having lots of throwaway games doesn't discount the quality ones.

Wii had many unique 3rd party games that were not party games, real gems if people looked
