Can Nintendo even afford Sony or Microsoft's gaming divisions ?
If either go under, who would Nintendo buy?
PlayStation | 110 | 70.97%
Xbox | 45 | 29.03% | |
Total: | 155 |

Outside of increasing market share in EU with PS it wouldn't really be as big of a deal and most of the IPs won't fit Nintendo's style. If anything they should buy Sega. They got the IPs, the mascots, and sub companies that would bring the mature edge to Nintendo without ruining anything. Plus they would own Atlus and the Bayonetta IP. It would be a match made in heaven. |
Buyouts would be a waste of money all around, but they should do more collaborations.
Satoru Iwata & Toshihiro Nagoshi above
Nintendo X Sega would be good for some games, F-Zero GX was one good joint project from them both.
Nintendo X Disney could have some good ideas for animation and licensing collaborations.
Nintendo X Spielberg could create a great live action movie from the Zelda, Star Fox or Metroid universe.
Xbox so they can own Rare again
Castlevania Judgment FC: 1161 - 3389 - 1512
3DS Friend Code: 3480-2746-6289
Wii Friend Code: 4268-9719-1932-3069
Nintendo would just let them fade away like they did with so many others.

This is what they did and still doing. Monolith is ex square employees who was working on FF. The relationship they have with Platinum, the owner is the original creator of DmC. All the original team of Rare are making Yokolaylay and have a nice relationship with Nintendo.
I voted xbox. It would eb cool to have Nintendo and Xbox games on 1 system.
