Today sony officially announced that all the BIOSHOCK games, along with BORDERLAND have been added to the 250+ PS3 games you can stream on PS NOW to your PS4 or PS VITA.... through a subscirpition service which is eyeing on rivaling netflix but for game streaming.....

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/12/01/borderlands-bioshock-games-join-playstation-now-subscriptions-today/

now for those of us that have tried PS NOW, there are actual comparisons and PS NOW games tend to run 95-100% on par with games actually running on the console ......

with that being said, many users are still complaining that the price of admission is still too high despite having the majority of big AAA ip released last gen for ps3 along with other titles available to stream through the service.... SONY HAS TEASED, TO STAY TUNED FOR THIS WEEKEND, FOR MORE PS NOW ANNOUNCEMENTS, and have gone to even respond to a user who was not satisfied with the amount of titles available, to basically stay tuned for THIS SATURDAY.....

PSX IS THIS WEEKEND... AND RUMORS HAVE IT PS2/PS1 GAMES ARE BEING TESTED THROUGH EMULATION SOFTWARE FOR PS4..... COULD SONY BE CLOSE TO ANNOUNCING A MEGATON FOR PS NOW?? SOMETHING LIKE STREAMING PS1/PS2/PS3/AND PSP GAMES THROUGH PSNOW ON YOUR PS4/PS VITA?!

COULD THEY ALSO BE SYNCING GAMES YOU ALREADY OWN WITH GAME STREAMS? MEANING YOU CAN JUST STREAM ANY GAME YOU OWNED ON THE PS3, ONTO THE PS4/PSVITA FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE AS LONG AS YOU HAVE PS PLUS?! (this last part was just optimism) LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN!

What I don't understand is why Sony is streaming the PS3 versions of multiplat games. They should stream the PC versions at max settings. Only the PS3 exclusives should be streamed in PS3 quality. It also makes the PSNow service so much cheaper over time as there will be less need to maintain banks of PS3 hardware to keep the streaming going. Though I guess in a few years reasonably priced PCs will be capable of running a good PS3 emulator so Sony will be able to completely ditch the legacy hardware and run PSNow completely using off the shelf hardware. Once they get to that point, PSNow should become very affordable.

I'd figure to stream the PC version of multiplats, they'd need a while different set of software licenses.

ps4 is already selling like hotcakes this xmas, any bonus features is just icing on the cake for customers joining the ps family now

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Reading the comments under the blog.

Some people complain about the price saying it's $5 more than Netflix per month. Well a new game costs a lot more than a new movie and you get way more value from a game so no shit.

Others saying they should be able to stream games they own for free. Completely unreasonable. Servers cost money and that's a loss making business model. Sony are a business not a charity.

Personally I think they'll announce ps1 and ps2 streaming to it with a host of new games. Along with some more from the ps3.

I suppose the biggest drag on doing that is the fact they would need to run Windows, and therefore pay MS.

What I would like to see is if you have a PSN+ sub and you have digital purchases of past gen games on your account you can stream from PSNow on a PS4 or PSV for no additonal cost.

Could just be announcing new PS Now games, something big like free bc for owned games or anything in between. But it doesn't suggest a megaton so let's keep it modest. That way you won't end up disappointed.
