Due to margin of error we can call it a virtual tie.

I predicted X1 would take Target and Walmart, with PS4 taking other retailers. Infoscout's info supports this. The additional gift vouchers on those two stores allowed the X1 to scrape up a tie. (Ps4 will take NPD though, you know it).

Due to popular demand, we've augmented the post to include a breakdown by major gaming console.
At Target and Walmart, the Xbox One + Gears of War bundle barely outsold its rival PS4 + Uncharted Bundle. Yet, strong PS4 sales at Amazon.com and other retailers were enough to edge out the Xbox One for top sales this Black Friday season.

So why exactly did they say Xbox One was the highest selling console when PS4 has a higher percentage? Also you should change the title to something more obvious.

If this data is correct, it's actually quite impressive for the Wii U. Last year, InfoScout said that the Wii U had only a 7% marketshare among gen 8 home consoles. If it's really 17% this year, that's a big improvement.

All X1 bundles were discounted and sold as BF stock. For the PS4, only the NDC was. Therefore, the revenue measure further benefits the PS4's position.
So basically, with this info, PS4 won, but given the margin of error I will call it a virtual tie until NPD leaks.

Cool! will tag this for a proper look over the tomorrow, but it looks like those picking up a PS4 are buying a console with a long healthy life ahead of it with busy online communitys.

Last generation, did the PS3 and 360 have such deals and price drops just two years in? Just wondering, as I was like 17-18 at the time and didn't pay as much attention. Some of the deals (PS4 and XB1, not any good deals really with the U) are insane regarding the amounts of games, controllers, and free stuff included. I find it really interesting

No, last gen systems were excluded this year, so all the % that doesn't belong with PS4 and X1 went to the Wii u
