Forums - Gaming Discussion - New Turtles Game by Platinum Games!

Earlier this month, Gematsu discovered a rating in Brazil for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC game published by Activision.

Today, a rating from the Australian Classification Board reveals Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is developed by Platinum Games.

This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. This would be the third licensed game developed by Platinum Games for Activision. Platinum Games previously developed The Legend of Korra and Transformers: Devastation.

Good lord, how big is Platinum Games? How many freaking teams they have?!?!?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Rather small tbh, only 175 employees.

Im assuming its a small team that did Korra, Transformers and now TMNT.

But yeah sometimes it feels like they are spread thin but they rarely dissapoint.

Thats the reason of my surprise. They are working in what now?4 different projects?how can they have so many projects with such a small team?Either they are miracle workers, or companies offers the team more workers for the projects they work on

Isn't Platinum busy right now? They must have a bigger staff than I thought.

If they can do it right. Make it old school. Remind us of the game we grew up on. There's so much there to work with but they can't seem to recapture the magic of the arcade game.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Seems like that can take on a lot of projects at once

Platinum is definitely a good choice for the job.

Looking forward to seeing how well the final game does.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
