Diablo 3 PC Review

Originality: Obviously, there was a Diablo 2 and 1, as well as expansions, and a handful of quality games as alternatives to this (Torchlight 1 and 2 comes to mind), so this game isn’t truly original. On top of that, pretty much all Blizzard games have an extremely similar feel (overly dramatic voice acting and plotlines, art styles, etc). Adding classes and different combat options only can add so much.

7/20

Graphics: It’s a blizzard game and a top down view game, so nothing spectacular (though there are games that look wonderful with 3rd person perspective).

6/10

Art Style: I do enjoy the art style a lot, though, for this game. I hate the art style for wow and for Warcraft rts games, but for this game I enjoy their choice. I especially enjoy the cut scene art styles and the pencil drawing parts. Still, nothing groundbreaking here.

Story: This is this game’s strong suit. Both the main game and Reaper of Souls have a fantastic story. I love how there are side quests and random dialogue moments with other characters that make you understand the world and the impacts of previous games. This game actually makes me want to play the prequel games more than most game series sequels, and that is a GOOD thing. It was dramatic and over the top at times, especially Cain, but this is blizzard we are talking about.

Game Interface: No issues!

5/5

Controls easy and fluid or difficult and rigid? Easy!

5/5

Is it fun? It is fun, though got very repetitive at times due to the beam attack (whatever it’s called) being the most powerful move I had as a wizard.

NR means Not Recommended based on inappropriateness.

^Charm is rewarded to games that have an undefinable quality to them that makes them amazing and have high replayability value.

I agree with most of your points, but I have to disagree with the one about story. It was the weakest of them all. The dialogue was cringeworthy too, especially on the second act/chapter.

I would rate it 8/10. Great game, spent 400h on it on PC and then 100h on PS4 (one the games I played the most!).

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

That is a lot of hours! lol

I have very limited experience with the original games, so I wouldn't know how the story/dialogue compares. I did find the dialogue ridiculous at points, but thought it improved later in the game.
