I honestly don't want it to be THAT big. Big games honestly end up feeling generic and disappointing. Hopefully they know how to create an interesting world with actual stuff to do!

Yeah, you got it.

@OP The biggest issue with making a Zelda world the size of Skyrim is how would the developers fit enough content to keep the open world interesting. It might be nice to have a large expansive world at first but if there isn't much to do it becomes rather tedious.

I would love it to be the size of Xenoblade Chronicles X baring in mind, that is bigger than Skyrim, Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 COMBINED. While also allowing great diversity and reported of plenty to do in this huge space. I believe Zelda could achieve this.
