E-sports are important now?

I could not care less formthis...

as for youtubers, there are plenty of conversations about the ps exclusives... Maybe less parodies, to be honest I only watch videogamedunkey and ... I never cared to count, I think he does most videos on pc anyway (the guy uses serious amounts of mods)...

For someone who doesn't play on PC these games are all PS4 exclusives. And have you even looked at those games? I don't remember a single "dudebro" 3rd party exclusive. There are games like SF5, Rocket League, millions of Japanese games in general and surely more to come as the PS4 increases the gap.

So far this PS4 has delivered everything any Playstation fan could want and it will top it off next year. I doubt Sony fans are the ones that will be disappointed this gen.

yes 2016 will be great. but before? very dire. nothing you could not play on every other platform too.
and don't bring up the other exclusives. i talk about the BIG! ps exclusives. the ones, that have a big fanbase and many ps fans bought (unlike the japanese games)
gow, gt, uc, the last of us

 

and for that audience, everything other does not matter.
an xbox one without halo, gears and forza also has "no exclusives" even if it has saclebound, recore, sunset overdrive and 100 other exclusives
that's how the random casual fan looks at the platform. they don't care for listwars and stuff they don't care about. does the platform i bought has the games i want yes or no? nothing else matters. and in the first party department sony did not delivered in theire eyes so far. i totally understand that perspective. nothing wrong with that

If you take Halo, Gears and Forza was there any 1st party besides Kill Instinct and Replay?

And since Forza Sells less than even Driveclub, Gears haven't release yet and Halo just release you would say that before October MS fans had nothing exclusive to play?

Compare the communities yourself: it's pretty obvious which one is actively playing games together and which one isn't. Where's the LBP3 thread to share levels between members for example? I constantly see people here asking to play Splatoon, Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart together online. I see none of that in the PS community here.

I only like to see people playing when is a friend alternating the control.. but I guess that analysts on youtube could increase awareness and improve sales, so it isn't negative... Not sure the strategy sony would have to implement to get it done.

On the e-sports let's see if GT can get bigger (because the Nissan Academy I would say is the biggest e-sport event I ever seen, not by the monetary prize for the 1st place but a real career opportunity is unique), SFV will be big, UC could improve on MP side and Maybe start interest in Destiny MP, CoD is with PS4 now. So I would say sooner or later it will possibly be stronger on PS4 than on X1 and WiiU.

Yeah i agree with most of what you said except the destiny and CoD since those aint reall sony games tbh. I think the PlayStation should focusing on their own games, perhaps make the next Ratchet & Clank has a Multiplayer mode and bring it to Esport. Or just any animated games like Jak 4 or Sly Cooper 5 or PlayStation Royal Battle 2! (but i expect many people are gonna compare to Smash Bros, so maybe not a good idea after all, lol.)

Anyways, why animated games you might ask ? Well, becuz E-Sport is all about fun and excitement, so Cartoon-ish would be spot-on. And unlike realistic games like UC and GT Sport, Sly Cooper/Jak/R&C are Fantasy genre so they can put some crazy and bizzard ablities, weapons, skins, etc in there.

Another factor is to have a diversity in it.
