Why do you think that if an HD remake of Xenoblade is done another Monolithsoft game can't be made? They would have no effect on each other.

Yes, it deserves a remake, but only for the next generation, to let us time for playing XCX ^^

Yes, definitely. But the remake should not be handled by Monolith. Let them focus on new amazing games and give the remake to a team that has the technical chops to do it, but isn't ready to handle a full on game themselves.

No need for HD remake, HD port would be enough, Wii version looks terrible, but after 3DS version I think chances are low for HD port.

Because a game doesn't develop without developers? So if Mono would develop it, it will affect other games. If it is not developed by Mono, it won't have an affect.

In all seriousness though there isnt a good reason for Nintendo to do so. It isnt a game that will sell millions like a Zelda remake can and its not a game with a direct sequel releasing on a new console that many may not have had the chance to play such as Bayonetta 1 and 2 or Gravity Daze 1 and 2.

In an interview with the developers of Xenoblade 3D, it was originally going to be a HD remaster on Wii U, but then they decided against it because the game is so big and they wanted it to be portable. Sad choice, sad choice indeed

I imagine Xenoblade is going to get the Ocarina of Time treatment and get a rerelease of some kind every generation...
My one concern is that Monolith will just become the Xenoblade studio...
That doesn't really allow an abundance of creativity...

Personally, I don't really think so. I just think they need to re-release it for more people to get it, though it is there for the N3DS if people have that system.
