Hopefully this means a good boost for Wii U overall. Let's hope 2015 can be its highest selling year to date!

Wii U, lowest userbase ever, non big profts, no future, still lame sales > release a succesor as soon as possible, don't waste more money.

Nintendo is not happy with those sales.

Do you know that Wii U is making non big profits? Maybe the 3DS is making lower profits. Do you know that the platform has no future? At least it has more future than the 3DS. So everything you mentions points to a 3DS successor release as soon as possible. That's how business work.

3DS gets replaced first.

That's not how business works. The successor has been in talks for a long while (with awful sales throughout that time). They are not going to say: "hey guys we finally got one decent weekend of sales from one retailer, let's delay the consoles we've been planning for months by a year." Everything has been planned. The successor is set in stone, and the wii u won't be around much longer. Stop over reacting to a tiny amount of positive sales after months of horrible ones

Eh... they talked about "NX", not "the Wii U successor". We don't even know what the NX is. Get your facts right.

Its doing really really well.Not only it was the best selling item in the Target online store, but according to alot of accoiunts of users in Gaf, it seems Wii U are selling really well in general.

That WiiU bundle sold well at my Gamestop but our Xbox One bundles were going faster than the PS4s and WiiUs. Now if we had had a a lot more of the BO3 PS4 bundles those were very sought after.

That's great. I hope that's true. Wii U is a great underrated console.

Ikr! Every little good news the Wii U is getting theres always lots of people who has that "but". Obviously the Wii U will not catch up to the Xone and the Ps4. Full stop. Don't pretend it will or insult it. Its own goal now is to get those profit for Nintendo.

Metroid developer mentioned that if they were to start development on a home console metroid, it would be too late for the wii u and would instead be on the NX. This along with the other tidbits that point to NX also being a home console. We've been given info throughout the past months. Maybe you could do the same before telling others to "get their facts right"
