I was so hyped when I saw the dragon god in the Intro cinematic that and the real final boss was the only let down in the game.

I agree. While my recent playthrough of the entire series made me realize how much DS1 improved on DeS, I still think DeS is one of the most important/iconic/essential/influential games of the last generation. I would love to see an enhanced version. The game has some of my favorite level design in any video game. Wonderful game. 

Demon's Souls + Sixth Archstone please.

Dark Souls also needs a remaster. Xbox fans can play Dark Souls games at that point, but true Souls fans will be running PS4 for Demon's and Bloodborne.

Miyazaki also mentioned Dark Souls being his last Souls game... But I feel like he should get us the Sixth Archstone DLC for Demon's, first. That way Bloodborne and Demon's will be feel complete.

Except that Dragon God is WAY TOO OP for anyone (regardless of level) to have a direct fight with him, most of his attacks and some of them (like his dragon breath) are instant kills, its like a little ant trying to kill a human and not just any human but a dude with a LOT of muscles... its just not possible dude, just his breath can kill you in the last part of that fight, (and im not talking about him breathing fire like normal dragons, im just talking about his exhalation when he is breathing).

Ive said it many times, but im pretty sure that out of all the Bosses (in all the games) Dragon God is the most OP of all of them, heck i bet he could fight and kill all the bosses in a fight all at the same time, all he need to do is fly and breath fire on them... (for the player thats an instant kill) and if some bosses survive it, the wont live after the second hit...

This is how a straight fair battle between you and the Dragon God would go if it actually happens:

First Try) the battle starts you run at it to hit it with your sword, it STEPS on you... "you died" try again.

Second Try) the battle starts you run at it to hit it with your sword, it punches you into the ground.... "you died" try again.

Third Try) the battle starts you run at it to hit it with your sword, it flies above you... you stare at it unable to hit it with your sword, it burns you alive... "you died" try again.

Remember God of War and the big enemies like Kronos? they were big, strong but really SLOW, so you can actually avoid their attacks, the Dragon God is giant, strong and fast, he moves at the same speed as you do, just look at him when he punches you, there is no way that in an OPEN area you could avoid that, its not possible he is to big and fast for that.

The reason why the Dragon God battle is the way that it is, with all the player "advantages":

1) the dragon being unable to move his whole body due to being impaled on the wall

2) the cannon spears that take out 80% of his health

is beacuse the only way you can beat him is in an unfare fight were you have all the advantage.

Im sorry for making such a long post XD, but i too have thought about this hipothetic fight a lot, and this are all the conclusions i got from "overthinking" this scenario.

It does this is where souls started and not with dark souls 1 like a lot of others want us to believe. But i think we only will see a remaster after a while when the Bloodborne dlc and dark souls 3 have passed. You dont release a remaster when there is enough new content avaible from the series.

Sony owns the Demon's Souls franchise, Atlus just paid them to publish it in America for the PS3 version. If they made a remaster for PS4, Sony could tell Atlus to move along.
