Black Ops 3 kinda sucked. Not terrible... not great... just meh.
The Metro games are good.
I'd say get a copy of Destiny for like $10, it doesn't take long to finish all the campaign stuff and you might have some fun.
If you haven't done so already, get Tomb Raider. Its not FPS but shooting is a big focus and great game.

I guess Fallout 4? That's not really a standard FPS though. If PS4 is your only option, I'd honestly wait a while.
Not entirely a shooter, but make sure you get Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on February.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I recommend COD BO3 but if you are interested for a good old school fps, try shadow warrior, its very good and runs at 60fps.
Farcry 4. its SO much fun. open world with lots of side quests. a properly lengthed story line. (32 missions, roughly 15 hours long). with the ability to make your own choices. a bad ass villian. great fantastic gameplay. huting and fighting all sorts of wild animals. and an arena mode which you can sink in a lot of hours into.
the game is FANTASTIC. get it!
i played Destiny, BO3, Battlefield 4, the battlefront beta, Killzone shadow fall and Farcry 4 is BY FAR the best game out of them.
