They need to go away from these choices and have to make sure that there's no other choice than getting a NX because they already own a PS4. And it would work better than just throwing out a console and get bashed by the PS4.

Nintendo can't "go away from these choices" and "make sure that there's no other choice than getting a NX"... there will always be choices. Why shouldn't PS4 and Xbox One and their huge game libraries be a valid choice anymore in 2017 or 2018 against NX? They will still get most AAA-titles of these years.

And waiting until the peak years of the competition have passed worked great for the Wii U, didn't it? Eventually it had 4 other home consoles (PS3 + 360 + PS4 + XBO) as competitors/choices instead of only 2.

You don't get it.

In 2017 many people already own a PS4/Xbox One. THOSE are what NX is aimed for. People who already own a current gen console. They don't have the choice between PS/Xbox One and NX. They already made this choice and they decided for PS4/Xbox One. NOW they can buy a NX as a secodary console.

And Wii U problem wasn't that it released between PS3/X360 and PS4/XOne. The problems were different.

Probably because the majority in this community believes every shit on the internet. Don't trust those people. These leakers a lifeless idiots. Don't gibe them the attention they want. Be a smart person :)

And I don't get it why people still believe there will be a Twilight Princess situation. If you would have read my post you would know that this certainly won't happen. Nintendo is a economic company that wants to make profit. It's not a company that wants to fullfill the dreams of some weird people of this community. They will do what's best for them and that is what I described.

It has nothing to do with leakers, it has to do with statements from Iwata such as saying they plan to redefine gaming in about 2 years back in May of 2014. And it has to do with the development cycles of major Nintendo teams.

And you can redefine gaming with a new portable console too.

Yeah, and these development cycles are 5-6 years per platform, not 4.

They have the choice to buy no secondary console at all and instead spend the money on games for the console they already have. If Nintendo mainly targets people who already have a PS4 or XBO (both with many new AAA games in 2017 and 2018 additionally to their 2015/2016 game libraries), they won't get a solid hardware base.

The idea of waiting until the competitor has reached its peak reminds me of Nokia and Blackberry when they lost marketshare against the iPhone and Android... they also waited too long to update their models/strategies. When they finally woke up, it was already too late.

But if they target people who want a new console a choose between PS4/Xbox One and NX and decide for PS4/Xbox One because it isn't the successor to a total fail and it has solid lineup of games for 3 years, then they'll get a solid hardware base or what? Again, your post doesn't make sense.

And it's also pretty clear that Nintendo plans on unifying their platforms to offer a family of devices rather than single isolated platforms. People who don't believe that are in denial.

Why should I be denial if Iwata has already denied a fusion platform?

I've only made 6 bets in my nearly 6 years on VGChartz, because I only place a bet when I am overwhelmingly confident I will win it, like over 95% sure.

One of those 6 bets was that the upcoming Zelda will not be a Wii U exclusive.

So is it going to be a Wii U exclusive or a timed Wii U exclusive lol? You can't go and say, it's a Wii U exclusive and then say for atleast 1 year. That's called a timed exclusive.

No my friend. It isnt. Will be on nx at launch.

As I said. On NX in 2017. Learn reading mate.

Nx will release in 2016. Learn to think.

I'm pretty sure none of the console LOZ are exclusive, they'll release it on the next gen remastered and that's that.
