The Xbox One numbers are incredible given the differences in sales.

Hmmm ever consider the fact that there are 4 XO games in the top 10 and only 2 PS4 games.... even with XO owners more spoiled for choice the sales are still strong for Fallout 4.

Change of subject because you're wrong :)

Kind of surprised Xbox is still about in my opinion.

Two ps4 games and 4 Xbox one games in the top 10? Don't you think this is the end of the ps4?;)

Hm, I'm pretty impressed it pretty much tied the PS4 version considering the install base discrepancy.

No, really... can we stop this BS?

Tim and The Princes...

Yep, definitely the end of Xbone! RIP.

2to1 consoles sold and PS4 barely passes FO4 sales over XB1. That's all I see here. =)

Not sure what you see buddy.  This is the US and UK only that have been posted.  The PS4 is not 2:1 in either location.

Might want to wait for NPD before being quite so definitive about that. Though VGC will have counted the official bundles as part of the game's sales and NPD won't, so there is a decent chance NPD will put PS4 sales ahead as well.

More surprising is that on VGC numbers the PS4 is slightly ahead in terms of proportion of game sales relative to install base. In general it can be said that RPGs do better on PS than Xb. But that rule of thumb is typically flipped on its head when it comes to Bethesda RPGs. Skyrim did 2:1 on 360 vs PS3 in the USA whereas the install base ratio was only 1.6:1, so massive advantage to 360 there. New Vegas did >1.75:1 on 360 vs PS3, again a significantly higher proportion in favour of 360 on install base.

Currently PS4:Xb one is 1.1:1, the FO4 sales ratio is 1.13:1 in favour of PS4. It's a very marginal difference, but considering the heavy favouring of 360 last gen this is quite a demographic shift. This isn;t the end of Xb one as such, but it might be the end of Xbox as a broad based console and it appears to be somewhat returning to it's core multiplayer shooter roots.

I will be looking at Mass Effect 4 sales with keen interest in this regard.
