I heard the game has an english language choice, so import might be fully #worth. Can anyone verify?

Localisation doesn't only require English language translation. You wanna officially release in Europe? You need to translate at least into German, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch in addition to English. You wanna release in the Americas, you need to add Portuguese, as Brazil is the largest South American gaming market. It's pretty ignorant for someone to think that for official western release just translate into English and job done. But perhaps USA=the world to some people, so to them English is all that's needed.

In some ways I think DOA is fortunate to have a ready made excuse other than, we can't be arsed putting in the effort to service a market that is too small to make a profit from if we do all the work that is necessary to localise the game for western release. 

I wouldn't be surprised of more Japanese games go this route. Just do English translation, release in the Asian markets and let the gamers import if they want. I wouldn't be surprised to see Asian based online retailers staritng to offer much cheaper shipping rates to western markets. I already buy games cheaper online from a UK based online retailer, with free shipping to New Zealand, than I can buy at retail here in New Zealand. Profitability with a small but enthusiastic western fanbase is probably much better by not officially releasing a game in the west. That's the beauty of not having a region locked console.

If you want games to be officially released in the west then start demanding a return to region-locked consoles.

I used to be interested in them. However, I realized they're as bad as the people they claim to be against. 

Many of them make fun of the "privileged" kinds and say it's fine due to it being a joke, yet blow up whenever a person creates a mild joke against them.

When it comes to this, feminists will have their guns keyboards ready to backlash this because women are shown more for their body than looks and whatnot. Yet, they do things such as slut walks? How does that work? Tell me how you can be against focus on a woman's appeal, but support people such as sluts, prostitutes, and so on? It's either you're fine with both or neither. It's not hard to realize that it'd be a contradiction to be against one of the examples I said and be with one of the examples I said.

Oh, and if the "feminists" are trying to remove stereotypes and make both genders equal, then why don't they say anything about Ryu from Street Fighter? 

At least woman many woman can look like the girls in Xtreme 3! It's not rare for a girl to have huge breasts. However, many guy characters in games are extremely unselfish, act like a stepladder for others, are extremely buff, tall, and so on. They're basically macho jesus!

I'm not a prick and realize it's a GAME. While I am disappointed sometimes with my slender figure, I realize that they may look slightly unreal for a reason- it's not meant to be realistic. It's a game- FUN. IMAGINATION. We've seen reality enough! We don't need people to keep ruining our creativity to games.

Video game developer try to make it where we experience new things. Imagine if we saw "natural" people all the time. Where's the fun in that?

Look at Bayonetta for instance. Yes, she does have some unnatural featues. Yet, look at what that does to her! it's what makes her unique! If female ISIS feminists got their way, Bayonetta wouldn't be as cool as the developers wanted her to be.

Most of the people that are "offended" by this are overemotional pricks that should probably not be on the internet if they're going to cry over anything. A woman with huge breasts is not "injustice". And to be honest, I'm sure any guy would feel quite disturbed from a skinny girl with breasts as huge as a Basketball.

Maybe if people were to stop getting offended so easily, this wouldn't be such a problem.

Well, this actually isn't true. DOA sells better in the West than it does in Japan. Koei Tecmo also localizes series that sell far worse than DOA in a consistent manner. It has nothing to do with cost of localization. It likely doesn't make enough to force them to localize it regardless of backlash. Would definitely make money though.

And yet, not a single comment from people who bothered to read this is supporting the point of view of ther article. If KT read this article and the comments they would feel encouraged to localise the game because the voice of the gamers appears to support the release of this game. The thought of negative press which has no actual influence of the commercial viability of a product has never stopped a company from pursuing a profitable venture. All the SJW ranting in the world would not negatively affect sales, therefore SJW backlash has nothing to do with the decision not to officially release in the west. Am I saying KT is lying about the reason for not localising? Yes I am. They are spinning a line and y'all are falling for it.

They say things such as, "Only X group of people can be prone to racism, sexism, etc etc". yet in reality, we all feel pain. It's just that for some reason they think they're so special to go against their word.
