Forums - Movies & TV - Fantastic Four 2 no longer on Fox's release schedule

After harsh reviews, rumors of internal conflict, fan criticism even prior to release, lukewarm box-office results and secret yo mama jokes, it appears that something is going on with the expected release of the sequel to the latest Fantastic Four reboot:

I hate to be bearer of bad news to y'all but news are news.

How sad are you?

"lukewarm box-office results"

Well that's an understatement if I ever saw one.

Well, I'm sure NOONE saw that coming.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

As an avid Fantastic Four fan for the majority of my life since I collected my first comic book as a hobby (FF 279), THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST NEWS EVER!!! And it's probably one of my best birthday gifts to have the sequel NOT come out on my birthday. Fox should should just give up the rights to the Fantastic Four and give it to MARVEL so we'll see a true Fantastic Four movie in the CMU. I thought the Roger Corman version had a very good storyline. The Tim Story versions were fun to watch. But the franchise NEEDS to go to MARVEL. I just hope that the absence of a sequel means that their is some trouble with Fox and the Fantastic Four franchise that will cause it to revert back to MARVEL.

Damn, I loved the last one!!!!

Return the darn franchise to Marvel so they can do good with it.

As long as writers and directors get the franchise right I wouldn't mind it not returning to Marvel.

I'm happy, that movie was horrible, but then again all of Fox's superhero movies are.

X-men First Class?

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Why make another one if nobody's gonna go watch it? Poor Fantastic Four.
