The slow start. How was this not in the poll?

The artstyle was a real turn-off for me. Maybe it's just an acquired taste...but for me, the character designs all ranged from weird-looking to flat-out ugly. It worked for monsters, but for people?

Like seriously...what is this thing. Is this a child?
Personal preference on the artstyle aside, I didn't hate the game itself, it just didn't really measure up to the other other 3D Zelda titles for me. I found the dungeon design and soundtrack to be pretty great, and Midna is probably my favorite partner character (not that she has much competition). I'd say it's still a 9/10 in my book...which goes to show how highly I rank the series in general.

Twilight Princess easily has the best swordplay in the entire series. If you collect even half of the sword moves, you can have far more varied content than any Zelda before or after it. I don't know if you can really tell with the Wii version, the waggle fest that it is, but the Gamecube version was stellar.

That said, what is this "the enemies are too easy" thing? Has anybody ever played a 3D Zelda game before? They are hardly the pinnacle of difficulty when it comes to enemies. Not being able to defeat a boss or otherwise first try is such a rarity, I can't actually recall if it has ever happened. I would say Majora's Mask is the only 3D entry that actually had some difficult bosses, or much of difficult anything, really.

I loved most of the dungeons, the various areas were pretty interesting, and I enjoyed exploring for heart pieces and bugs. I didn't need the world to be chock full of things to do, as that wasn't what I was expecting. I was glad they didn't overload it with useless stuff like they did in Wind Waker, where many islands were just for charts to find treasure or heart pieces, upgrades, or otherwise that was simply more condensed in other 3D entries.

That said, my least favorite part was the mandatory wolf portions. I didn't hate them, but things definitely slowed down during the light bug hunts. Later on when transformations can be done at will, wolf stuff is far more acceptable.

Lack of direction at times. Objective markers would go a long way in some sections.

Honestly, I don't have a lot of complaints about TP, it's one of the best games in the series and last generation in my book.

Easy bosses, empty world, slow start, terrible pacing and shit sidequests

This. Oh so much this. The pacing in the beginning was so bad that I had to force myself to play it before it get better pacing. If I was super casual I probably would have given up on the game in the first 20 mins.

Empty world.

1. Completly big empty world. Seriously, world is huge in comparison with previous Zelda games but its also most empty, basically you don't have almost nothing in that world, no NPC-s, no side quests or at least flora and fauna.
2. Art Direction and Dark Tone. I didn't like art direction and dark tone of game and those twilight realm sequences for me were very exhausting because of that, and I really hated game because of that.
3. Very bad Items usage. You have some part of game when you use your item for first time and then you completely forget about that item because you will no have any need to use it ever again in game.

Becuse of all that TP is my least favorite 3D Zelda game, even again its very good game.

Sadly, TP HD will not correct this flaws for me except visual appearance, textures are looking great and colours and lithinging are better, but game itself will certainly have some other improvements also, like good UI, gamepad integration...I notice some people mentioned easy enemies, I am pretty sure we will have Hero Mode from start same like we have in WW HD.

My biggest complaint isn't on your list, which is it is straight up unpleasant to look at. (All versions)

Definitely too similar to OOT. Minus the charm or actual challenge of that game.
