Thank you Japan for protecting us from sexy stuff!

Why are we getting all this censorship from Nintendo all of a sudden? I mean, they have censored a lot of things in the past, but we're suddenly a lot of content censored in a lot of games in a very short timespam.

Also, I hope NOE doesn't censore this. Although considering they censored that Tharja scene, I'm not very hopeful.

Was this decided by Nintendo, Level-5 or whoever localised the anime?

Either way, it is interesting to note that Nintendo had no problems with women in bikinis and men wearing nothing but speedos in other releases. For some examples, just look at the Swimmer trainer class in every Pokémon mainline release or various characters (Brock, Misty, Jesse and James for example) in the Pokémon anime to see no problem with such clothing.

But moving to Japan doesn't solve the problem of mosaic censoring in hentai.  Did I just said that out loud?

This is getting a bit out of hand now. Every week we hear something new getting the censored treatment for NA.

Not sure what Japan and/or Nintendo thinks of NA but Americans see sexual stuff all the time, probably more so than any other country in the world.

Considering this anime is meant for kids, they would need to change things like that...

Although, back in the 90s, this might have gone unchanged. There were many adult things present in cartoons that just flew over our heads. Those were crazy times.

Kids wear this type of swimwear all the time though

It's been awhile since I've been on a beach and obsevred what bathing suits kids wear, nor do I think about it. But the target audience watching a show with these kids of images in them is not really good for them at all.
