Stop grasping at straws. I based my Japan PS2 vs worldwide PS3 on the chart which showed them to be about the same, but lacked actual solid numbers. I went and found the numbers to back up my claim. The difference was 200k. Your 2.5 million number was pulled from nowhere. Yet you call me a liar? I never said that the PS2 outsold the PS3 in Japan, only that they were about the same. I would say within 10% is about the same.

And i would say that within 10% is not same. Because 10% from 110 Mln. = 11Mln. = more then x360 today sold. So 10% is a DIFFERENCE.

Once again "I don't care" doesn't make me wrong. The truth is weekly sales are incredibly important, because that shows the momentum your console has. Consoles that consistently sell low during the year will continue to sell low during the holidays and will sell low for the rest of their lifetime. Weekly salesduring launch weeks are high, but after that they fall into a pattern. And the PS3 fell more than the rest.

What the hell kind of drugs are you on? sure 0.1% of 100 million is 100,000, which is more than the number of PS3's sold in Australia. Does that make a margin of error of 0.1% bad? VGChartz is only accurate to about 10% so my guess based on a difficult to read graph being within 10% is very accurate. Clearly more accurate than your "2.5 million" number.

That's actually something I didn't know. I can only assume that Sony stockpiled units for the holidays there. But notice how the number picked right back up again to 20k. Definitely an anomaly, especally when you compare to the steady decline of PS3 after the sales of gundam.

I never said it was impossible. Of course it's possible. However, I simply stated that it is unlikely that the PS3 will be below the cost of the 360 and the Wii, based on what I know about previous generations of consoles and cost reduction in hardware. I don't have facts, because it is impossible to prove or disprove. I can only provide evidence, such the costs of previous generations of hardware. 

Anyway, this will be my last post in this thread. It is clear that you are cherry picking arguments and not even reading what I say. I have better things to do and I am ashamed I let myself get dragged down into a pointless argument with you. I would appreciate it if a moderator locked this thread

0.1% of 3 mln. is only 3k, but 10% is 300K, so it`s a DIFFERENCE, WHY YOU DON`T UNDERSTAND THAT? that within 10% is not same.
