Yeah, this is definitely unexpected. I'll be interested to see the numbers in the coming weeks and through the holiday season.

It's not surprising,  preorder's for cod on x1 where a lot higher before it came out that ps4 was the new home for cod , it only sold 70,000 more copies not a big deal ,next year it will be different,  x1 usually outsells ps4 in cod sales by 3 to 400,000 not this time. I'm sure the bundles will over take it easy.  Worldwide ps4 cod will sell 3-5 to 1 x1

This isn't surprising to me. The PS4 and the XBone are pretty close in the US, but the XBox brand has always been known as the shooter box and most people buy Xbox's to play shooters. Also, if you've been keeping up with the Amazon best sellers, you'd know that the Xbox version has been higher than the PS4 version pretty much the entire time, including right now, being the highest selling game at the moment.

Thats good to see! Last gen consoles did drop Dramatically while the latest gen didn't increase much. Is it because of the Black Ops series?

Vgchartz numbers, so I'll take them with a grain of salt. I wont be surprised if they're right, though; COD has been synonymous with Xbox for a decade. A few months of Playstation marketing won't change that. I expect the WW sales of this game to be closer than the hardware sales gap would suggest, as well.

Depends, according to VGC the difference is 30k instead of 300k for the US. Would be interesting to see how it did outside the US as the marketing deal was WW.
