You trust VGChartz for accuracy ? I dont believe this considering sony bundles, DLC first and marketing. May be VGChartz used their last year sales as base and using the prediction algorithm based on last few years where Xbox was dominating due to marketing and DLC before.

I'd be amazed if this is accurate. Not saying that it can't be. But amazing if it is.

Cod usually sells a lot more on xbox in the US than on Playstation. If those numbers are accurate then it's a super result for Sony because worldwide they will win the cod battle by a landside.

Not only did it sell more than on the PS4, it comfortably outsold Halo 5.

This isn't that far off the numbers for AW last year, it sold 874,000 on PS4 and 1,034,000 on the One first week!

Xbox has had an entire gen of CoD marketing. It's gonna take a while to make Playstation into the "CoD" brand. Either way, I don't think this numbers are correct (not because XBO is over the PS4, but because the numbers are too low). Activision told us pre-orders were substantially higher than for Advanced Warfare, yet it's down YoY? It could be that digital is really growing here, but I'd be amazed if total sales were substantially up while physical sales were down YoY.
