Hmm, it's about a boy who falls into this underground world and meets a bunch of monsters. He tries to escape it and go back to his home. On the way, he meets a lot of interesting monster characters. Some of him want him dead, but some are actually pretty nice, interesting and funny.

I think what really makes Undertale great are the characters, music, the battle system, and just the many funny situations you find yourself in in the game. It is definitely a unique kind of game : D

That sounds rather interesting. This calls for some trailer viewing. :)

Undertale. It's not only the most surprising game this gen for me, but also the only thing that has "wowed" me since I was a kid.

I'm now filled with determination.

Ori and the Blind Forest.

God! So GOOD.

Dragon Age: Inquisition, never thought I would like that type of game.

Splatoon. Never expected it to do so well

The Wonderful 101 and Splatoon.

Probably Dying Light...I didn't expect much out of it, so I was honestly surprised how well parkour works in open-world and had quite a bit of fun with it, though second half of the game was a bit repetitive and tedious.

Yes, you must! And don't give up on the game if you don't like the 1st ep, this game only gets better and better. It'll surprise you along the way!

Nice. Isn't it a story progression game, kind of like Tellltale games?

Yeah, I would say it is more story driven, and linear, but you do have to do come combat. How you do that is up to you though x )

In terms of sales and success, i would say Splatoon. I was one of those who have underestimated it since the game looks very "Cheap" and a New IP on a console which is not doing soooo great. I knew that i was gonna love it (even though the shooting genre isn't my cup of tea).

In terms of gameplay and the other content in the game i would say Fire Emblem Awakening. I remember getting hooked to it by just watching this trailer which shows the different classes (I just love when theres soooo many options you can do in a game). I havent played any game which uses that similar gameplay, sooo my expectations were quite not high on it.

I would also say Mario Kart 8. When i went to each track for the first time i just shout "WOOOOOOOW" The quality from Nintendo has never looked so good.

Pocky Lover Boy!

For me personally I would say Bloodborne.

After trying Dark Souls 2 and giving up due to difficulty, I thought Bloodborne would be too hard for my tastes. But I just love the world and style of the game so much! It really got it's hooks in me and I ended up beating it including all optional areas; played over 60 hours which is a really long time for me.
