But tbh Nintendo is trying to do something new with this. At the same time people shit on this game for not trying something new and they shit about the gamepad for being underused, they shit also about the fact that they are trying to make something new using the gamepad functionalties with this one ... and of course everybody is already guessing that should be shit.

Can't really say can I? I haven't played this game yet. Maybe this control set-up sucks *ss, maybe it's the second coming. I can say, if this dual screen mechanic is fun, I would prefer it to slightly improved graphics.
