No. It's a completely different game. It has a lot of the same elements, but it has a completely new cast and story. This isn't Valkyria Chronicles 4.

Just a short trailer but man that was sweet! And those screenshots! The detail and visuals overall look awesome. I'm so stoked for this and the remaster of VC. These possibly could of gone to the top of my list for most hyped closely followed by FFXV and FFVII remake.

Well, if you really want to play a Valkyria with tactical elements, you should play the third one then.

I reckon this is almost guaranteed to come west of Japan. There is so many more ps4s and therefore more potentials sales for the game in Europa and North America that they would be stupid not to do It. When they released VC they did so with zero marketing and the PS3 was only just coming out of the "doomed" phase that people were saying so they weren't happy with the sales, this time they will be releasing it on the much more dominant console (sales wise) with a tiny bit of marketing and word of mouth from the VC players it could easily sell much more than VC did.

Yeah but I want it soon as possible lol, it would be awesome to see the full trailer at PSX. It could take quite a while for an announcement of localization unfortunately.
