Yeah, even if someone who worked on PCSX2 is working for Sony, why would Sony use PCSX2 or part of it when they have all the documentation of the PS2, while the people woking on PCSX2 have to do it by reverse engineering and tricks.

I really hope this emulation enables playing PS2 discs. Now we'll see certain PS2 game prices being driven up on eBay.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

This is PERFECT!!! I will finally have the opportunity to play Silent Hill 2 again (enhanced.) It's the ONLY game I have kept the ps2 for and the only game on ps2 I still own. I will NEVER get rid of this masterpiece.

Also, FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX on ps1. Would never sell those off either.
Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve - all games I still have.
